With the new year comes new amazing releases in the Romance community, and like every other day, I’ve been left with a giant list on my TBR (To Be Read) pile on Goodreads and stacks of unread books in my living room, waiting for me to pick up and indulge for a moment before getting sucked into the world that lies within these characters! Whether it’s hot half naked men on the cover, or a cute yet hilarious rom-com, there is no doubt you’ll have plenty to catch up on with the latest 2019 book releases! Of course some of these are from my favourite authors, but there are also some new authors I’m super excited to check out this year!
The Kiss Thief by L.J. Shen
I’ve read books from L.J. Shen before, and she really knows how to spice things up, but also make you feel every ounce of emotion within her characters… which include of course yelling at them through the pages, and almost – almost—throwing the book across the room in frustration (In a good way!)
The Kiss Thief is about a woman who is stuck in between two men fighting to have her, without allowing her to speak her own mind. So she decided to do the only thing possible. Create her own ending. Definitely a great beginning to a new series, and has a 4.56 star rating on Goodreads! I believe this is coming out January 9th!
Faking It by K. Bromberg
Bromberg is an author who’s been on my radar for a while, and with the amount of ratings this latest book has, it’s got me looking into all of her other books along with it! I mean it doesn’t hurt that there’s a very attractive man in a bath tub looking oh so dashingly back at me that makes me want to pick it up even faster!
Faking It is about a hot, rich (and cocky) Australian who mistook a woman for his dog walker and somehow worked his way to get her to be his fake girlfriend and promote his dating app. So with one long tour and one bed on the tour bus, things are bound to get spicy! This book comes out January 8th!
Deal With the Devil by Meghan March
I was fortunate enough to meet Meghan March at Holiday With The Belles which was a first-time author event in Dallas, Texas in 2018. Not only is she insanely beautiful, but she also writes some steamy books… to say the least!
This is a brand new trilogy for Meghan! Now there’s not much to the synopsis except that this handsome man Jericho Forge is way past being a bad boy and yet there is so much more to his story causing all of our proper thoughts to become foggy. This book comes out January 15th!
Finding Alexei by Kendall Ryan
Kendall Ryan is also an author on my Radar based off fellow bloggers recommendations they’ve gushed over to me. She will definitely be an author I plan on reading this year!
Finding Alexei is a sports romance about a pro athlete who needs to focus on winning games and staying out of the headlines. However when he bumps into an extremely independent woman whose now finding herself in serious desperate need of help, their worlds collide and there’s no doubt things are bound to happen! This book releases January 7th!
If I Only Knew by Corinne Michaels
Corinne Michaels is an author I’ve been dying to get my hands on her books to read! I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews, and with the type of covers that look like this, It’s kind of hard not to want to grab every single physical copy for your shelves!
If I Only Knew is a heartwarming standalone about a woman who’s lost her husband and somehow is needing to take care of her children alone as well as find some sort of work to keep the roof over their head. That is when she runs into Milo Huxley… her now assistant. She hates him, but there’s nothing she can do if she wants to keep her job from getting stolen by him. Of course with an English accent and perseverance, there’s a lot at stake. This book comes out January 28th!
Meet Cute by Helena Hunting
Helena Hunting has gotten a lot of amazing reviews for her other novels, so it comes to no surprise that this is on my list and the reviews are pretty decent on Goodreads as well! This type of cover seems to be the new trend too lately in the publishing industry, it just captures what you know will be inside… a cute happily-ever-after!
Meet Cute is about a law student named Kailyn who literally runs into the actor she’s crushed on for years. To make it even worse, she discovers that he’s also in her class. Their moment of embarrassment turns to friendship, but it’s not its all cracked up to be when eight years passes and Kailyn needs to decide whether friendship or her job are more important. This book comes out April 9th!
Worship by Trilina Pucci
Worship doesn’t have a cover just yet, but you can be rest assured that it will be a good one! I personally follow Trilina on social media and not only is she a hilarious bad-ass, but she’s also so down to earth and super sweet. She tells it like it is, but also will give you virtual love when needed!
Worship doesn’t have a synopsis on Goodreads, but it’s definitely already gotten a high rating there! I do know that it’s full of steaminess in every single way, and that some people may not enjoy how much heat is searing off this book! It will be out on January 17th!
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
I’ve heard so many things from Sally Thorne over her previous book, but I still haven’t had the chance to read it! So of course that being said, she’s also on my list to read!
99 Percent Mine is about a woman named Darcy who has her eyes set on a man she can’t have simply because it’s her twin brother’s best friend! So when the twins inherit a cottage from their grandmother and are asked to restore it back to its beauty, the only thing that’s keeping her from walking away is to ensure her brother doesn’t ruin the place… and a certain hot man in tight shirts. This book comes out January 29th!
Catastrophe Queen by Emma Hart
Emma Hart has been around social media a lot lately, and it’s all due to this! This has received a solid four star rating on Goodreads, and honestly it seems like it will be such a hilarious and steamy read!
Catastrophe Queen is about a woman who burned down her apartment so she has to move back to her parents’. And said parents have sex… a lot! So when she lands a job as a personal assistant to Cameron Reid, she knows she will do whatever it takes to keep it that way. That it until she finds him half naked one day, only wearing a towel. This book comes out January 29th!
Falling For The Cowboy (Bedtime Reads #3) by Kennedy Fox
Of course they say save the best for last, right?! If you know me on social media, then you know one of my true favourites and inspiration to my own novels are Kennedy Fox! This writing duo has changed the game and I swear it’s like they never sleep with all the books they are publishing in a year!
Falling For The Cowboy is the third book in the series, each a standalone but of course best read in order. This story follows a professional photographer heroine who is travelling to a ranch where she meets Colton Langston, delicious in every way. As always it’s a steamy and emotional ride for fans of these two authors! This book comes out January 31st!
So whether you’re a fan of Erotica, or just a cute love story, there are plenty of romance books breaking the gates right in January, so be sure to add them all to your TBR and let us know what you think of them!
