This year, I got a later start than usual on my holiday decorating, but everything finally came together. If you’re late to the decorating party like I was, or if you’re just looking for one other thing to make your home holiday-ready, have no fear! I’ve created a list of fun decorative items inspired by different kinds of Christmas music!
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey and Winter Christmas Hanging Snowflake Decorations
There’s no disputing it—this Mariah Carey song is cemented in our hearts and minds as one of the all-time Christmas greats. You can’t go to a store or turn on the radio without hearing Mariah singing that final “YooOOOOooooOoOOuuuuu” at the top of her register!
If you’re one of those out there who can’t get enough of Mariah at this time of year, then these hanging snowflakes are likely an ideal match for your holiday aesthetic. Half of them are glittery, so there’s plenty of pop star sparkle to make your days merry and bright! These would also be ideal for any holiday parties that need your particular brand of festive pizzazz.
“A Charlie Brown Christmas” by the Vince Guaraldi Trio and the Glaciart One Pom Pom Garland
This holiday album is a classic for the young and old! Its jazzy beats are equally sophisticated and youthful! And the song “Linus and Lucy” will make you want to bop around and dance like a Peanuts character!
If this album is your jam, I heartily recommend a pom pom garland! It’s full of bright colors that are reminiscent of the old cartoon, and it looks like something that could make even the most pitiful tree look beautiful!

“A Very Kacey Christmas” by Kacey Musgraves and a National Tree Wavy Red Bow
At first, I thought of tracking down cutesy little cactus or cowboy boot holiday decorations to go with this album. It’s a little bit country, a little bit pop, and a lot of fun!
But then I remembered some of my favorite songs from the album: “Ribbons and Bows” and “Present Without a Bow!” So it seemed right to pair this album with a big, lit-up Christmas bow for indoor or outdoor decoration!
If you can’t get enough of it, Kacey Musgraves also has a cute cheesy holiday special on Amazon that showcases many of the songs from this album!
“Snow Angels” by Over the Rhine and an Uxcell Super Soft Cable Knit Blanket
This is an album for the most subdued holiday music fans. You don’t need something flashy, poppy, or classic. You just need sweet tunes to help you feel cozy during this dark and cold time of year.
So, of course, all it will take is an extra cozy blanket to make your home holiday-ready! Just curl up in this cable knit throw, light a fire, and snuggle with someone you love this holiday season! An added bonus? This decorative choice will serve you well beyond the holiday season!
“Christmas” by Michael Buble and a Jolik Merry Christmas Banner
This album is so great because it combines classic crooner sounds to a more contemporary setting! Michael Buble’s album is a wonderful crowd-pleaser that people with all kinds of different musical taste might appreciate.
Since these songs lean toward a more classic, traditional Christmas sound, I feel like a buffalo check plaid banner is an ideal addition to home décor for Buble fans! It’s classic and crowd-pleasing, just like this collection of songs!
