Welcome to your February horoscope! I’ve taken teh liberyt of pairing your horoscope with a book you’re sure to love.

Aries (March 21- April 19)

You are already an optimistic and confident person so it’s no wonder that during this month that your feelings towards someone you like or even your significant other grows. Remember that while jumping into something new (and exciting) gives you a thrill, there are still some things that need to be considered. Impulse can be both beneficial and destructive to yourself and those who are in your life. This is the time for love and your (sign) color is red, not green. Don’t let that green-eyed monster come out and ruin what you have or could potentially have. While we know no one is perfect and showing your weakness should never be used against you, just remember to take a deep breath and not use that impulsiveness to make your love life destructive.

Book Recommendation: Men in Kilts by Katie MacAlister

Taurus (April 20- May 20)

Like the overly used wedding speeches go, Love is Patient, well listen up Taurus! Patience is one of your greatest strengths, use it to your advantage and prove everyone wrong! Your sign might be that of a bull but that doesn’t mean you should rush into everything stubborn headed, practice patience this month, even if it’s starting off small like not getting annoyed in the coffee line when the person in front of you can’t decide on what to get, instead of a snarky comment try lending your help instead, not everyone will want your help but maybe someone does and that’s a start! Starting something new isn’t something you really like but if you feel the need for a change in your life go with your gut and just try it out!

Book Recommendation: Openly Straight by Bill Konigsberg

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is not the month to switch to your mysterious side Gemini, you are a fan of love and if you didn’t get what you were hoping for Valentines day, don’t take that out on your partner. You put a lot of pressure on yourself and those close to you, so when someone doesn’t do what you think they should be doing don’t sabotage the relationship by hiding behind your second self. While you may think that your partner needs to always be the one to take the lead on dates, why don’t you teach them something new? It’ll give you a great perspective on the way you treat those you hold near and dear to your heart.

Book Recommendation: The Hazards of Hunting a Duke by Julia London

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

I’m assigning you a word for the month: Tenacious. Be bold, be seen and be heard! Last month was about getting out of your mood swings, and this month is all about just taking life by the horns and finally letting yourself be who you really are! Life is way too short and if someone is holding you back, maybe it’s just time to cut things and go your own way. That doesn’t just go for your love life, that goes for friendships, family members and work life. Be the tenacious person we all know you can be and maybe you were once that person already, let them shine again!

Book Recommendation: How to Capture a Countess by Karen Hawkins

Leo (July 23-August 22)

This is the perfect time of year to remind yourself that laughter is the best medicine. The weather isn’t always the best, people are either really happy or really miserable during this month. You are the perfect person to equalize everything out (well maybe not the weather part). Just remember not to hide what’s really going on in your life by using laughter as a defense mechanism. If something is really bugging you, let it be known to the world. You were born to help others, but don’t forget to help yourself once in while.

Book Recommendation: The Heiress Effect by Courtney Milan

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

You are worthy, you are beautiful, and you are lovable. You may not think you are any of those things, but you are. Last month I asked you to do some self-care and I really hope that you followed through on that, now just remember to set aside some time at least once a month and continue that self-care. While it may take a while for someone to get to know the real you, under that practicality there is someone who is also very kind and will work hard at something or someone they care about. If you are given a chance of love, let your heart do the talking.

Book Recommendations: The Proposal by Mary Balogh

Libra (September 23-October 22)

You are the definition of sharing is caring, you share what is yours either with material objects, a shoulder to cry on, or your own heart. So it’s okay if you feel that you give too much of what you have with others and feel like you’re burning out. There are people who will take all your sharing for granted and will eventually take everything you have and some, start recognizing those people and start setting limits. We know that you don’t like conflict but when it comes to your caring side, put yourself first and care for what is best for you.

Book Recommendation: A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Oh Scorpio, did you have a pleasant Valentines day? You are being the most sensual of all the signs. I really do hope that you were able to fulfill your every desire. If not, this is the perfect time to explore what you need most out of your relationship with your partner, in and out of the bedroom. You are a fantastic problem solver, so figure what is missing from your life and hopefully it’ll answer some other questions that are always in the back of your mind. Remember that the people you hold close are there to help and support you, use them to bounce ideas of what’s going on in that mind of yours!

Book Recommendation: Taking Shots (Nashville Assassins #1) by Toni Aleo

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Did you make any changes last month? This is the perfect time to really enjoy those changes and let them become a permanent fixture in your life. While we know love doesn’t just happen overnight but don’t let your impatience hold you back on something that could make your life more enjoyable and better yet, more fun. Just remember that people make human mistakes and you are no expectation to that, don’t cut things off too quickly just because you can.

Book Recommendation:  Bad Apple by Elle Kennedy

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Don’t be one of those people that has to tell everyone that you’ve been sticking to your new year’s goals, unless of course they ask then it’s just polite. No one wants to know that you are now vegan or that you go to the gym Monday- Friday, just stop. Please. This is also a great time to have a little more fun, spring might not be in air just yet, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a little spring break from life. Take a weekend trip with your friends or partner to just breath in some new air. You’ll come back feeling relaxed and ready to take on anything.

Book Recommendation: Alaska Wild by Helena Newbury

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Don’t let the fear of emotions make you cut and run from someone just because it’s the month of love. If you are feeling the need to run really ask yourself why that is and really to get to the bottom of your feelings. Let your friends help guide you but remember it should be your reason to either stay or run and no one else’s. If something or someone is being too inconsistent in your life either fit them in or say goodbye, that might be the reason why you are feeling the need to run.

Book Recommendation: The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Happy Pisces Month! While February fades into March, don’t let the cold and damp weather dim the artistic side to you. You may not want to do anything other then binge Netflix and sleep. It’s an extra bummer because your birthday is coming up. Take this time and relearn a craft or teach yourself something new like knitting or heck even pick up a paint by number, anything to get yourself creating something!

Book Recommendation: No Perfect Hero (Heroes of Heart’s Edge #1) by Nicole Snow
