My YouTube subscription box is a little crazy. I am subscribed to a lot of YouTubers! It shocks me sometimes, all the different niches out there. I find myself binging videos I never thought I’d be addicted to. Did I spend an entire Saturday watching people find amazing gems by dumpster diving? I just might have. Today I want to share with you a few of the channels I am addicted to and am loving. I have clicked the bell for these ladies so as soon as they post, I’m notified and won’t miss their latest videos!

Jennelle Eliana

So, if you’re unfamiliar, there is an entire realm of the YouTube world full of creators who live out of their cars. No, they haven’t come on hard times. They live this way by choice. It is fascinating and eye-opening. I am addicted to these videos because these creators come and go as they please and I live vicariously through their travels. This was my obsession for the majority of 2019, and just when I started to feel like I’d watched all there was to watch, I discovered Jennelle’s channel. I was shocked, because to be honest, I hadn’t seen anyone living out of their vehicle who was a woman of color like Jennelle. She lives in her van with her pet snake, Alfredo and there is just something about her personality and ideas that keeps me coming back for more. One of her recent videos is her wanting to learn how to skateboard. She zooms in as she realizes she has been trying to open the pack of knee pads wrong and I felt that on a whole other level. I am that girl, always opening things the wrong way! Totally relatable.  She is a must watch.

Leena Norms

In one of her most recent videos titled, 10 Reasons to Leave Prince Harry and Megan Alone, she kicks it off with declaring “I am British, and I am pissed off.” What I love about Leena is the variety. I know whatever she decides to post, it is going to be a discussion delivered with passion. One of my recent favorites is her sharing what she has learned from her 10 years on Youtube. Homegirl has been on YouTube for 10 years! So, if you’re thinking of starting a channel of your own, I can’t recommend enough giving this video a watch. Leena is also a huge reader and works in the publishing world. Her bookish content is always amazing.

XO. ZAHRIAA

I discovered Zahria’s channel back in the fall of 2019 and was immediately hooked! Her personality in her videos feels like you’re chatting with one of your girlfriends. Specifically, your really cool girlfriend. She is a college student and periodically will post a college type video but my favorites of hers are her Cook With Me videos. This is how I discovered her. I wanted to do something different with my alfredo recipe, so I turned to YouTube and her Cook Alfredo video was recommended. From hair, make-up, cooking, trying candies from around the world with her boyfriend, I just love her channel and I love seeing it continue to grow. She is definitely worth the watch!

Hannah Witton

Hannah actually has two channels, but I have been loving her content on her channel, More Hannah. She has videos on sustainable fashion, app recommendations to help you stay organized and books! Yes, to book recommendations! There is something very bright and aesthetically pleasing about her videos and her personality is so warm and friendly. I love how selfless she seems in her videos. It’s obvious she loves being a creator but at the core, you can tell she does what she does for the benefit of other women. Go watch her videos and check in the description box for the link to her second channel which has amazing content about sex and relationships. She is so awesome.

Cheyenne Barton

I am obsessed with Cheyenne and have been for a few years now. She is one of the few creators whose content I watch and rewatch over and over again. If you are a cat lover, she has the sweetest rescue cat ever named Sophie. She loves video games, trips to her local coffee shops and owns her own Etsy shop. Cheyenne’s vlogs are so cozy and although I do not use a bullet journal, if you do, and need some inspiration, you have to check out her bullet journal videos! I appreciate the real-life insight into what it takes to be a business owner and how honest she is about her mental health. It is very inspiring. She typically posts about once a week, sometimes it may be a little longer, but I know when I get that notification that she has posted, that we are in for content that she’s put her heart and soul into.

I am a huge fan of the hard work these ladies put into creating amazing content and I tune in so much that they feel like old friends at this point. I highly recommend giving them a watch if you’re looking to add something new to your YouTube feed.

  1. I love what you said about these creators and I’ve never watched any of them before so I’ll go give them a look. I hadn’t heard about the community of people living in their cars by choice but it does seem like something that would appeal to a free spirited type.

Great post and I’m glad I found your blog, Bree.
