Five Wedding Planner Romance Reads To Treat Royal Your Wedding Fever

By Kate Olson

Guess what season it is??? WEDDING SEASON! And whether or not you have a certain Royal Wedding on your mind, are personally are getting married or have a wedding or two on your calendar, reading about them is one of the most decadent things you can do short of walking down the aisle yourself... and definitely WAY less stressful. Wedding planner romances are a major favorite of mine, and the fact that this subgenre exists and I have read so extensively in it is a testament to my adoration of all things matrimonial and organizational in my romance reads. Remember my love for librarian romances? Well, this is a VERY close second!

I now invite you to dive into this gorgeous cake-and-flower filled world…...and you will be ecstatic to hear that the majority of these are series that you will definitely want to binge-read immediately!

To Have and to Hold (Wedding Belles #1) by Lauren Layne

A delicious wedding planning business in New York City combined with fabulous men to make the planners’ lives deliciously complicated equals a binge-worthy series. I absolutely raced through these books!

Wife by Wednesday (Weekday Brides #1) by Catherine Bybee

Okay, so not technically wedding planning, but it’s matchmaking and one of the most fantastical and yummy series out there. And it has “Brides” in the series name! These women run a VERY successful business arranging marriages for very important people who need a spouse…….but not a love marriage. You can imagine that love may just be found, though, and these seven books are a wonderfully wild ride. There is a spinoff series as well if you just can’t get enough!

One Week to the Wedding (Misty Point #1) by Olivia Miles

This wedding planning series is set in coastal Rhode Island and combines a fabulous setting with a small town business and romance. Both books in this series are a lot of fun!

Daughters of the Bride by Susan Mallery

I absolutely inhaled this book in one sitting - I just adored it! It is set in a seaside town in California and focuses on three sisters as they plan their mother’s wedding. Of course all three daughters have romantic entanglements and readers get a front row seat for all of the fun!

Save the Date: A Novel by Mary Kay Andrews

This one features a florist whose main business is weddings, so I totally think it fits here! Andrews is one of my go to authors for Southern sweet and sassy women’s fiction/romance and this is one of my favorites of hers! All kinds of wedding drama with a hate-turned-love romance - YUM!

And three more that are on my radar (actually on my end table in my living room!) but I haven’t gotten to read them quite yet - I’ll report back when I do!
