May is a fortuitous time. Sure the world is also a raging trash fire, but spring is in the air, there’s a new royal baby, and we have a fairy tale royal wedding to look forward to! As we await this marriage straight out of a romance novel (divorced American actress meets reformed rake British prince!), here are some romance suggestions by sign.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan

Gemini is the sign of the twins, and in this romance our heroine Bex heads off to college at Oxford without her twin Lacey, and adventure ensues. Although Lacey was the twin who dreamed of royalty and riches, it’s Bex who falls for the royal down the hall, Prince Nicholas. Dating the heir to the throne comes with more problems than Bex imagine. Can she and Nicholas find their happily ever after?

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

Ivan by Kit Rocha

In this third book in Kit Rocha’s Gideon’s Riders series, we meet warm hearted and loyal   Princess Maricela, who will do anything for her people. Part of the princess package? Marrying out of duty, not love. In the midst of a blitz of suitors, Maricela discovers that the man she actually wants has been right in front of her: her reserved bodyguard, Ivan. Emotional Cancers will love this story of two people managing strong senses of duty and forbidden love.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Princess of Zamibia by Delaney Diamond

Drama loving Leos will adore this book full of angst, deception, and desire. Lover to enemies to Lovers? Check. Secret baby? Check. Marriage of convenience? Check. Adventure in a far away kingdom? Check! Prince Kofi of Zamibia shows up three years after an affair gone wrong to tell Dahlia he’s not leaving without his son, sole heir to the Zamibian throne. What happens next? Read to find out, Leo.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

The Royal Conquest by Stacy Reid

Capable and common sense-valuing Virgos will enjoy this historical romance. Our heroine, Peyton Peppiwell, has been jilted and now seeks someone practical and ordinary like herself. Instead she meets sexy horse breeder Mikhail Konstantinovich, untitled and much too intense for her liking. Payton son finds herself embroiled in an affair with, and Mikhail’s secret royal title doesn’t stay secret.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

My Fair Concubine by Jeannie Lin

Yan Ling is a tea girl who chafes against the injustice of expectations of servility, though that’s all a woman from her class can expect. Lei Fong has to provide a “princess” for the emperor, and decides to train Yan Ling for the task. Of course, the hours spent together will make it hard for them to let each other go.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

The Princess Trap by Talia Hibbert

Sensuous Scorpios will enjoy this steamy story. After getting caught in flagrante delicto with the hot guy she’d met at her job, Cherry finds herself in a bit of a situation. He’s a prince, and now he needs her to pose as his fiancé. Of yes, delicious fake fiancé fun!

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

The Queen’s Game by Carla de Guzman

Wild child Princess Nina embodies the Sagittarian spirit: always on the go she spends her days sinking yachts and her nights kissing popstars. But when her father dies, duty calls. Nina returns to the kingdom of Cincomarre to prepare to take the throne, and what better way to prepare than fake dating the good guy Prince of Concordia, Felipe? What could possibly go wrong? 😉

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole

Okay, this is my own book. Sorry! I’m not going to add myself every month, but for the ambitious and analytical Capricorn, orphaned grad student Naledi Smith is a great heroine match. When she starts receiving spam mail saying she’s betrothed to the prince of an African kingdom, Naledi it too practical to believe it…little does she know that those emails are the beginning of her happily ever after.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

A Queen from the North by Erin McRae and Racheline Maltese

Unconventional Aquarians will enjoy this alternate history romance—what if the Wars of the Roses had never ended? Lady Amelia of Yorkshire is having a rough time—dumped by her boyfriend and failing to get into grad school. Everything is going wrong, until a chance meeting with the older, widowed, playboy Prince of Wales turns her life and their kingdom upside down. The book itself is a marriage of historical fact, imaginative contemporary worldbuilding, and magic.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

The Queen of Ieflaria by Effie Calvin

In the f/f romance, Princess Esofi of Rhodia expected to travel to Albion to wed the crown prince, but instead must attend his funeral. Rhodia and Albion must still form an alliance, and Esofi is offered the opportunity to wed the next in line for the throne: Crown Princess Adale. Dreamy Pisceans will enjoy this slow-burn fantasy romance with a side of magic and dragons.

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

Loving the Princess by A.C. Arthur

In book two of Arthur’s Royal Weddings series, we find a heroine any headstrong Aries will adore. Princess Samantha is devoted to her island kingdom, but when she meets Garrison, a former army sniper secretly investigating threats against the royal family, they embark on a passionate affair. This steamy series features royal romance tropes with romantic suspense.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Falling for his Convenient Queen by Therese Beharrie

In the second book in the Conveniently Wed, Royally Bound series, we meet the loyal and determined Princess Nalini, a perfect match for the Taureans out there. Forced into a marriage with King Zaccheus to secure an alliance between their kingdoms, Nalini is happy to do anything it takes to protect her people. But she’s also not giving up on love, and though this is a marriage of convenience, she refuses to consign herself meekly to a life without happiness.
