Keanu Reeves & Winona Ryder Just Set The Plot For The Perfect RomCom: Accidental Wedding
Imagine this: They're young, beautiful and roam amongst Hollywood's hottest young stars.
He is talk, dark and exceedingly handsome. No, like exceedingly handsome. She's the queen of the coolest movies. They're paired for a what is sure to be a blockbuster vampire flick.
And then the unimaginable happens: A scene in which a Greek Orthodox priest marries the couple. Nothing unpredictable so far, right? But, it turns out, the priest is really a priest. Which means the marriage could really be real.
At least, that's what Winona Ryder thinks. “We actually got married in Dracula," Winona told Entertainment Weekly about her and Keanu Reeves, her leading man from 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula. "No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life.”
Even Dracula director Francis Ford Coppola thinks the ceremony kinda, sort of might have been real. After all, he set the scene up to be as legitimate as possible thinking “having the real wedding ceremony as it might be in that religion [Greek Orthodox Christianity] would be beautiful."
Married to Keanu Reeves in real life? Yes, please!
After all, the famous bachelor seems to be competing for The Perfect Man title: He's a humanitarian, he is kick ass on the big screen (John Wick, anyone?), and he just became a book publisher, pairing with visual artist Alexandra Grant to create the imprint X Artists' Books. That last part next levels him immensely.
The marriage revelation came out when Winona and Keanu were doing the rounds on their press tour. The two are paired once again, this time for the upcoming rom-com Wedding Destination, a hate-to-love flick that hits theaters August 24.
