AND SPEAKING OF LOVERS, we’ve got Persephone establishing the current power dynamics between them. From her POV, why would a lofty, important, kingly CEO give a lick what she thinks about the way that he runs his kingdom?

Then BOOM! We get a major confession from Hades. Keep in mind, we’ve been following on this long journey with him where’s he’s been on and off with Minthe, all the while untangling his feelings for Persephone. And he’s been telling himself for a very long time that he doesn’t deserve someone like her. Until…

WE FINALLY GOT A KISS! HE KISSED HER! HE KISSED HER IN THE RAIN AND SHE KISSED HIM BACK AND IT’S BEEN ONE-HUNDRED AND TEN EPISODES AND THEY HAVE FINALLY KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSED!!!

So Rachel goes full Notebook on us and he picks her up for an even more intense smooch and – are those butterflies? 🦋

Yes those are in fact butterflies. Butterflies in Persephone’s tummy, and glowing and increasing all over her body. 🦋🦋🦋

Aaaaaaaand it looks like Persephone has turned INTO the butterflies. 🦋 Her powers have been surprising us at every turn over the course of the series, but THIS TAKES THE CAKE.
