Summer is here!!!!! These New Adult reads this month take us on a journey to new places! As I currently am in the peak of my work life, this is a welcome respite.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

In The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, an unlikely couple gets the experience of a lifetime —a free vacation to Hawaii. This sounds like heaven except Olive and Ethan do not like each other! But, they’re the only two who survived the buffet nightmare at their siblings’ wedding. We travel to Hawaii with them and it is a delight for this reader. The banter, the sexual tension, the location, the adventure! Olive and Ethan are forced into close proximity and must meet their issues with the other head on. As Always Christina Lauren brings on the hilarious moments, this frenemies romance hits all the right spots.

Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

Casey McQuiston is a new author to me. This book has been all over my timeline and I had to check it out. Another friends-to-lovers romance, Alex and Henry have threatened US-UK relationships after their latest confrontation. Alex is the First Son of the President, who is up for reelection and Henry is the Prince of England. To repair the relationship, the unlikely duo find themselves in an unexpected position, they must fake it until they make it. But, what happens when the lie turns into more than a truth? This is a wonderful story of finding love in an unlikely place and fighting for what you want.

The Sword of Souls by Karina Espinosa

The Sword of Souls is the second book in a series. I am a huge paranormal romance fan and this urban fantasy ticks all my action loving needs. There’s a romance element to it, however the emphasis is on the main character’s attempt to save the world. She’s the last Valkyrie left on Earth and it’s only chance to win against the evil that is invading the world. Make sure to start at the beginning but be prepared for a no holds barred book with sexy paranormal characters.

With summer starting up, what are you diving into this month?
