Introducing you to my New Adult Corner! Come in and sit down and I’ll lead you to a world of books filled with angst, first time serious romances, and lots of sexy times. New Adult is my favorite genre to read, these are the books that hit the hard hitting time between being a teen and a full-fledged “adult” where emotions are high but, so are responsibilities. Covering things like those first time experiences like new jobs, first time away from home, life after college pack some dramatic, heavily exciting times!

These are my top picks for January!

Hollywood Playboy by Natasha Madison

Behind the “lights, camera, action” of Hollywood lies a world of deception, love, and seduction.

Are you ready for Hollywood Royalty?
Jessica

An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing.
I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who.
I was over it.
Then I got my next assignment.

He’s Hollywood’s bad boy.
He works hard, and he plays even harder.
He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour.

With one month on the road with him, two things might happen
One, I may never work in this industry again.
Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy.

Natasha Madison knows how to write an alpha male and she holds nothing back in Hollywood Playboy. Setting new heights to her writing, she brings a hero that is at the top of his game but it only takes a small reporter to knock him back a couple of steps. Jessica is everything I love in a heroine (besides her name), strong yet vulnerable, funny and charismatic. Don’t be fooled, this plot holds more than just a romance as they navigate a life behind the Hollywood lights.

If you like a love -to- hate beginning with two stubborn leads who have great banter, go on trips to exotic places and end up with a swoonworthy romance, pick this!

Cruel Money by K.A. Linde

Lose yourself to the dark and glamorous underbelly of the Upper East Side in USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s new billionaire romance Cruel Trilogy.

She was supposed to be a one night stand.

A way to sate my sexual appetite.

I let her glimpse the man I am. The face that I hide behind my carefully cultivated life. But she ripped open that divide—and there’s no going back.

Now, she’s here. In my city.

I don’t care that I’m Manhattan royalty and she’s the help.

Only that she’s living in my summer home. With me.

And I want more.

The Queen of Angst strikes again with the start of this new trilogy loudly being touted as Gossip Girl meets Cruel Intentions and I truly understand why. Our hero is a true New Yorker with plenty of old money and influence. She’s been hired as a home sitter for ONE of his family homes. Their first meeting at the beach house leads to plenty of jaw dropping banter and the start of a story that makes you want to simultaneously shake these characters or hug them.

Overnight Sensation by Sarina Bowen

Everyone knows the girl is off limits. But it’s so good to be bad.

There’s this girl…
Heidi and I have been trading hungry looks all year, and everything she does makes me smile. But I don’t do girlfriends, and I certainly can’t get involved with the league commissioner’s daughter. I need shots on goal, not a hookup and a widely misunderstood paparazzi photo.
Can I resist her, though? The way she teases me should be a game penalty for interference with my libido.

There’s this guy…
Jason wants me, but he won’t admit it. That man looks at me the way a hockey player eyes the lunch buffet after practice–and I love it.
But when victory is finally within my grasp, I blow it and humiliate myself. Even then I can’t even avoid him–as the team intern, I’m in constant view of his hard body and cocky smile.
I need another chance. Jason Castro is about to learn the true meaning of an overnight sensation

I love Sarina Bowen’s writing whether it’s on a farm or the rink, I would read her grocery lists. She has a style that is both realistic and gritty but also romantic and poetic. This is the fifth book in a series but each can be read as a standalone (and are fantastic). Jason has been known as the easy going guy on the team and, when issues come about he’s forced to shed the cool demeanor and work hard for his place on the team. Heidi is also fighting for her place and trying to shed the title of “league commissioner’s daughter”. With Sarina’s writing style, you’re enveloped in the family of the Bruisers and you lose yourself in a story about redemption, finding your place in this chaotic world and duh! a crazy good, romance!

Hope your 2019 is off to a great start! I’m coming off a slump and looking forward to diving into new books! I’m always looking for suggestions, please feel free to contact me with any great books!
