Well, everyone, we’ve made it. It’s almost 2021! I think it’s going to be a great year, at least by comparison. But, before we close out 2020 for good, I have one last playlist for you. This list is full of jams that will have you feeling ready to take on the new year as soon as the clock strikes midnight.
New Skin by Beach Weather
This song was one of my favorites at the beginning of the year, and I think it’s the perfect way to start off 2021, too! Beach Weather is defined by catchy, fun beats and lyrics that will make you feel something. In this case, ready to take on the new year!
January by Autoheart
I love Autoheart’s album Punch, but I could not for the life of me tell you what kind of music it is. “January” is a new favorite of mine, and it’s perfect for entering the month of the same name.
This Time Last Year by Nightly
I love Nightly so very much. This song is about missing people, places and times, and I think we can all relate to that this year.

Just Like That by JADN
I don’t really have a reason for this one. It’s just fun to dance to!
Live for the Night by Krewella
Another great one to dance to with members of your household as you wait for that ball to drop. This old song reminds me of much simpler times, and also has a fair amount of that angst I know we’ve all been feeling this year.
On Our Way by The Royal Concept
This song has a great beat and is also super optimistic! You might remember The Royal Concept from their hit song “World on Fire.”

Lifted Up by Passion Pit
It’s always a good day to listen to Passion Pit. I like this one because it has a dancy, optimistic feel.
Rocket Ship by San Cisco
Another older jam by a band I really can’t quite pin down. “Rocket Ship” is my pick for this list because it reminds me of taking leaps and trying new things.
Crave You- Adventure Club Remix by Flight Facilities
I was obsessed with this song for years, and I think this is the year to bring it back. I love the original version of the song, too, but this remix is the perfect way to bring a little bit of club music to your NYE festivities.
