The only thing scary about these October releases is how SCARY GOOD they all look.

Though, come to think of it, this list might affect your TBR and monthly book budget in scary ways… but that’s a discussion for another time. Looking for deliciously daring dukes, stubbornly sexy hockey players, or dangerous MC club enforcers? Look no further. Need some determined detectives, brutish barbarians, amorous alien warriors, or heroic vampires? Then check out these upcoming releases.

Love at Fourth Sight by Ariella Zoelle (Oct 15)

The latest book in the Suite Dreams series is an age gap, instalove, opposites attract romance where Albie reluctantly falls for Luca, the guy who’s in town to help Albie’s parents open a new ski resort. Luca is handsome, charming, and an excellent baker… How’s Albie supposed to resist all that?

Ride the Wreck by Max Walker (Oct 15)

Ryan’s life as a detective is predictably routine (#boring) until he’s assigned to Elijah, a self-described grumpy ass drag queen, whose life is being threatened. Can Ryan find the stalker and bring a little light back into the life of the exhilarating man he’s falling in love with?

The Inconvenient Count by Kai Butler (Oct 18)

Like Bridgerton, but in space. Rumor has it that Count Yun married, then killed, his elderly husband. Captain Ado is assigned to gather proof against the Count. Pretty Obsessed by JR Gray (Oct 18)

In the first of a new series from author JR Gray, Pretty Obsessed is a modern m/m twist on Cinderella about a dirty talking rock star and a cinnamon roll writer. Uncertain Future by Edie Montreux (Oct 19)

Vampires usually suck, but some want to save the world. That’s the case for vampires Flavius, Isak and their friends in this collection of stories that cover their heroic exploits from WWII to the near future, where they strive to save humanity from itself and manage to fall in love in the process.

Teacher by Roe Horvat (Oct 20)

The emotional stakes are high in this super sexy omegaverse romance from author Roe Horvat. All that changes the day Daniel, a nerdy single dad with trembling fingers and inconspicuous glasses, smiles at him.

Submitted by Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes (Oct 21)

After Beau is rejected by his family, he’s kidnapped by aliens. Hybrid human/alien warrior Vorian frees him from captivity and, through their love and bravery, the bonded mate pair will battle alien foes for the future of planet Thorzan in the third book of the Star Marked Warriors series.

Wed to the Barbarian by Keira Andrews (Oct 21)

Timid prince Jem is forced into marriage with the brutish barbarian Cador. What starts as an alliance between their kingdoms soon turns to a desire that burns hotter than either of them could’ve imagined. Their romantic adventures will conclude in The Barbarian’s Vow (coming Nov 4).

Ghost of Lies by Alice Winters (Oct 21)

But when feelings he never expected start to grow, his revenge becomes more complicated than he ever intended.

Never Judge a Duke by His Lover by Merry Farmer (Oct 26)

They embark on an eye-opening summer love affair but soon must decide whether to follow their hearts or their families’ wishes.

Catch Me If I Fall by Noah Steele (Oct 26)
