[Note from Frolic: This post is brought to you by our friends at Kensington. Looking for your next book with a sexy cowboy? Look no further than The Rancher’s Redemption by Kate Pearce, out now!]

The word “cowboy” goes well with pretty much anything. Cowboy boots? Adorable, functional footwear. Cowboy hat? Will keep you protected from the harsh sun and keep those falling snowflakes out of your eyes! Cowboy boyfriend? Swoon. FAKE Cowboy Boyfriend Who You Might Just Fall In Love With? It doesn’t get any better. There’s something—okay, several somethings—that just make cowboys SO dang sexy. Here are seven reasons we’d love to lasso a cowboy of our own.

1. They’re good with their hands.

Cowboys need dexterity for all kinds of things around the farm. We’d like them to put some of that dexterity to good use, on us…

2. We can steal their flannels.

Flannels are objectively some of the coziest garments on the planet. The only thing that makes them cozier is the smell of a sexy cowboy lingering on them.

3. They’re knowledgeable with knots.

Cowboys know their way around ropes, that’s for sure. We’ll let you connect the dots.

4. They’re animal lovers.

Come on, is there anything cuter than the way an animal lover’s eyes light up when they see an animal they love? Cowboys are good with horses and all the other animals around the farm.

5. They’re very good at riding.

Horses. Good at riding horses. Cowboys are good at riding….horses.

6. They make for the perfect fake boyfriend.

If you’re going to have a fake boyfriend, why not have it be one that can take you on romantic horse rides, show you the beauty of the countryside, and woo you with their country charm? Why not have it be Adam Miller? Lizzie can share, right?

The Rancher’s Redemption by Kate Pearce, out now!

Family, community, hard work. It’s what always draws the folks of Morgantown back to the ranch—along with the promise of so much more . . .

Widowed for ten years, now running the family ranch, Adam Miller is no longer the fun-loving guy who married his high school sweetheart the moment they graduated. His bitterness in the aftermath of her death even alienated his closest link to her—Lizzie Taylor, her best friend. But when Adam comes across Lizzie in a dire situation, he’s compelled to help—and finds himself with an unusual opportunity to make amends . . .

A struggling single mom, Lizzie’s extremely wealthy ex ran out on her when she got pregnant. But now he and his family have decided to fight for custody of her young son. When Adam shocks her by offering to pose as her partner, awkward as it may feel, it’s Lizzie’s best chance to hold onto her child. And as they strive to present a united front, their old friendship rekindles, sparking an unexpected attraction—along with past hurts and secrets. Soon they realize they’ll have to find a way to forgive if they want to move forward—especially with
each other . . .
