Sarah Penna is the co-founder of Frolic Media. Prior to that, she was the Co-Founder of Big Frame, the first digital-only talent management firm. Big Frame was acquired by DreamWorks in April 2014. Sarah loves working with talent and building communities across multiple platforms. She is a book nerd who does judge a book by the cover. Catch her at 6am reading a few chapters before her son wakes up.
CEO / Co-Founder
Lisa Berger Is currently the CEO and co-founder of Frolic Media. Lisa Berger is known as an industry innovator who has helped shape some of the most iconic pop culture media franchisees in entertainment. Over the course of her career Lisa has run major media brands including E!, MTV, and ABC. You can find her in the middle of the night re-watching her favorite rom-coms and rom-dramas of all time. She takes pride in being able to recite lines from famous meet-cutes in rom-coms from the 80’s and 90’s. She especially enjoys introducing the best love story classics to her two girls and is thrilled when they aren’t on their phones until after the end credits roll.
Manager of TV & Film Development
Before joining the Frolic team, she worked in development at Escape Artists, at Innovative Artists, and started her own podcast about Jane Austen adaptations that’s now reached over 90,000 downloads She enjoys reading, stand up comedy, and coffee entirely too much.
Samantha is the editorial producer for Frolic. She’s the author of YA novels Latium (2018) and Spectrum (2021). She writes for chat fiction apps Hooked and Litty, through which her short stories have amassed several million reads. In her free time she plays intramural sports and watches too much Netflix.
VP of TV & Film
Natalie Sellers is a development and production executive who began her career at United Talent Agency before moving to Annapurna Pictures. After 4 years there working in both film and television, her love for producing and enthusiasm for contemporary love stories brought her over to Frolic.
