I have a soft spot for sports romance because I grew up with sports all around me. From football to soccer, my attention was everywhere. So, of course, when I started reading romance books, I instantly gravitated toward stories that feature some kind of sport. I find them super interesting and exciting. They also can bring so many emotions out of you, so that’s probably one of the main reasons why I love a sports romance.

The Plan by Karla Sorensen

Former football player Erik has suddenly become a bodyguard to a rich influencer girl. She’s the daughter of a football legend (and someone we already met in a Sorensen’s book The Bombshell Effect). He’s grumpy, she’s sunshine. He’s definitely not going to cross any lines; this is business for him. But Lydia brings the best out of him but also brings out things that he tried so hard to put away, so it’s clear that you’re about to see a battle of wills. A fun, romantic, sexy battle of wills to see who comes out on top.

Everything for You by Chloe Liese

Chloe Liese is ready to bring us back to the Bergman series with Oliver Bergman’s story! And it’s going to be so much fun. We get to meet a new character, in this case, Gavin Hayes who is the captain of Oliver’s soccer team. But they don’t really get along. When their coach names them co-captains, it becomes impossible for them to avoid each other. One is grumpy, the other is sunshine and smiles. They clearly are opposites, but you know what they say about opposites…

The Puck Drop by Jaqueline Snowe

If you want to try a New Adult college sports romance, I have one for you! The Puck Drop follows Michael who becomes a hockey coach intern and Naomi who just happens to be the coach’s daughter. Right away you can see that it’s going to be a forbidden romance which we love around here FOR SURE. Michael is trying to figure out the next step after ending his hockey-playing years while Naomi is interning under her estranged father and hopefully fix that broken relationship. Both of them don’t work on paper… but in real life? You shall find out and see if they make it work or not.
