Lit Wallflowers Podcast: Ravenels – Hello Stranger – With @literaryillusions aka Lady Sadie

Where can we get summoning whistle like in Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas?

Two years has passed since Dr. Garrett Gibson and Ethan Ransom met while she was fighting off attackers. They took the next step when Ransom gave Garrett a whistle to blow when she needed him. They both knew she can protect herself, but who wouldn’t want to see their preferred gentleman walking around the corner towards us?

With the encouragement of her colleague, Dr. Havelock, she blew the whistle for some birthday fun with her blue-eyed, unofficial guard. Both aware that their date would be their first and only for her protection from his spy activities, they ended the night in her laboratory.

Both hero and heroine couldn’t focus on work, however fate brings them together while he’s on the job. After a few meetings, fate brings them together again through the Ravenels who asked for Garrett’s help to save him.

Through skill and stubbornness, Garrett wouldn’t allow Ransom to die. Then during his recovery in the country, Ransom saved Garrett from intruders seeking for him. Wanting to end the mastermind once and for all, Ransom confronted him. Ever concerned Garrett for her patient and lover, she traveled with him to town and again saved his hide.

Even the strongest people in mind and body need help and may succumb to the power of love. Two independent people found themselves wanting each other in their life. If not for companionship and partnership, then to save each other’s life (wink). Join us as we discuss two self-made strangers who fall in love!
