Bodice Tipplers
Bodice Tipplers: Ride the Thunder by Janet Dailey

He’s Brig McCord (no really), a Hatchet-scenario survivor, ex-soldier of fortune, and rancher. She’s Johanna something or other, hot redhead-in-certain-lights and general doer of nothing in particular (except for, of course, big game hunting with her dad.) It’s a tale of murder, mystery, and doing it – it’s Ride the Thunder by Janet Dailey!

Lit Wallflowers: All the Duke’s Sins – Along Came a Lady with Christi Caldwell

We want more Christi Caldwell in our lives especially after interviewing her for her new release “Along Came a Lady!”

Etiquette instructor, Edwina Dalrymple, was hired for a different sort of charge, the adult kind. She was to turn the Duke of Bentley’s recently known illegitimate son, Rafe Audley, into a gentleman.

Rafe hated the Duke and was surprised to see a woman turn up this time to bring him to London. However, he was as determined not to succumb to Edwina’s smiles as she was determined to do whatever it took to get him in front of his father.

We would do anything for family. Sometimes it is giving our siblings the opportunity for a better life. Sometimes it is righting a secret we never knew about. Sometimes it takes a different perspective to bring a family together by any means possible. Join us as we discuss how sunshine Edwina and grumpy Rafe got their happily ever after with their respective family and with each other!

P.S. “It Had to Be the Duke” is the prequel which we highly recommend to read after book one, and narrator Tim Campbell’s voice via Audible is not to be missed!!

First Cup of Coffee with Jeffe Kennedy
First Cup of Coffee with Jeffe Kennedy:  September 24, 2021

Today is the release day for THE DRAGON’S DAUGHTER AND THE WINTER MAGE! I’m talking about choosing release days, why it’s traditionally Tuesday, making lists and why writers should focus on One Thing.

First Cup of Coffee – September 27, 2021: Really well done supernatural suspense in a book I’m reading, how voice works, and an example of male gaze creeping into the depiction of a female character. Also when not to take advice from successful authors.

First Cup of Coffee – September 28, 2021: Plot holes, suspension of disbelief, refrigerator tropes, and Scooby Dooing the endings of supernatural thrillers. Also coping with the expectations of others while you write and trying to create for yourself.
