What do they have in common?
Both Good Trouble and The Bold Type focus on women in their 20’s starting their life, like any current millennial. As a current college student, I love to watch this show as it helps show the realities of my future in a few years when struggling out there to make it work. But most importantly? They focus on women making it big. Yes, that’s often seen on TV in today’s day and age, but it’s still a big deal. They both show the realities, such as hating your job or not everything always working out in your favor. They both focus on current issues, such as racism, women’s rights, and other issues. These shows are honestly like a guide to the millennial work life. We need shows like this in our lives and I’m so grateful they exist. They both are always raved about in the Twitter universe. Trust me when I say that you’ll fall in love with them.
