I love Daisy Prescott’s quirky, unique sense of humor and have thoroughly enjoyed every installment in the Wingmen series. This is the sixth and final book in the series, and although I am sad to say goodbye to this eclectic cast of memorable characters and fun setting, the series is ending on high note with The Last Wingman.
Based on their physical appearances, Noah and June are complete opposites. He wears almost only black and has piercings and tattoos, while she dresses in vibrantly colored clothes with an eccentric flare. They’re both small business owners on the island of Whidbey, Washington, and they both don’t get close to people easily. They don’t get along when they first meet, but Jonah quickly develops a crush on June and hopes to soften her feelings toward him. He’s both adorable and sexy as he quietly pursues her and shows her the man behind his rough exterior, and he might be my favorite of all Prescott’s Wingman but don’t make me choose. He and June’s courtship is leisurely-paced and absolutely heartwarming, and you cannot walk away from this book without feeling entertained and satisfied. Also, how adorable is this cover?
