This book has been adapted into a Hallmark movie (which I’m not ashamed to say I watch EVERY year), but I have to hand it to Sheila Roberts for creating the original novel. To anyone who likes turkey dinners, colorful gloves, and circles around the ice skating rink, this book is everything!

The Christmas Wedding by James Patterson

Wait. James Patterson… wrote a Christmas novel? Yep, that’s right. Patterson decided to mix it up for the holidays with this novel. The point of view toggles from one character’s perspective to the next, so it keeps you on your toes. Patterson deserves major credit for coming up with such a heartwarming story. Then again, what else would it be when you put “Christmas” and “wedding” together?!

The Christmas Shop: A Novel by Nancy Naigle

Considered as the Christmas version of You’ve Got Mail, this novel is a one-stop-shop (get it?) for all the holiday romance suckers out there. Nancy Naigle is known for writing romance novels and holiday novels, so this one is right up her alley. It’s a nice reprieve from the busy days of December, and it brings you to a kid-like wonderland of holiday cheer.

Looking for a side of heartache to go along with your hot cocoa? This story has it all. It begins with a tale of love at first sight, but what follows is a hodgepodge of emotions. You’ll be laughing, you’ll be crying, you’ll be ALL in your feels. Would it really be Christmas without it, though?
