Exclusive: Cover Reveal of ‘That Kind of Guy’ by Talia Hibbert

How to explain the Ravenswood series? I think this description of Zach, the hero of That Kind of Guy, says it all:

“He was bad boy fantasy with a dirty mouth and a bleeding heart. He treated her so gently…”

You see, the men of this diverse, small-town series are sexy as hell and incredibly loving. They have to be, to support the outspoken, outcast heroines Ravenswood disapproves of. In essence, I wrote a series about black sheep finding their HEAs with hot, devoted heroes and I am so incredibly proud of it, I can’t even tell you.

Ravenswood started a year ago with A Girl Like Her, and now, three novels and a novella later, it’s ending with That Kind of Guy. This is friends-to-lovers, older-woman/younger-man, fake relationship romance with forced proximity, because a trope a day keeps the doctor away. I went IN with this book, you guys. It’s intensely, achingly romantic because that’s what this series is about, and I think the redesigned covers really capture that.

On the cover of That Kind of Guy, the hero, Zach, is shirtless because… well, the man’s allergic to clothing. He’s a gorgeous, built blacksmith who wanders around all rippling abs and glistening sweat 24/7, which his friend Rae finds rather difficult to deal with.

And, speaking of Rae—I love her on this cover, so much! She doesn’t dress very appropriately herself; as an absent-minded author, she often takes her dog for long walks without remembering her coat or gloves. If she and Zach both catch hypothermia, I will have no sympathy.

Oh, and here’s my favourite happy coincidence: in this book, Rae often puts her hand over Zach’s heart, because THEY ARE SO MUSHY. Even though they are Just Friends. And their relationship is Totally Fake. And That Sex Didn’t Count. Even though! And, what do you know, on the cover of this book, Rae’s hand is over Zach’s heart!!!

…If his heard was in his collarbone, I mean. Okay—maybe my grasp of anatomy is questionable, but honestly, work with me here.

Having these covers redesigned by the wonderful Natasha Snow (http://natashasnow.com/) has been such a gift, and such an amazing way to celebrate the end of the series. If you haven’t visited Ravenswood yet, you really should. I mean, just look at the covers. It’s gorgeous over there.
