Great Book Adaptations You Can Stream on Netflix

I don’t know about you, but there’s something really satisfying to me about a great film adaptation. This whole quarantine put me into a bit of a reading slump, but I’m getting back into my stride now and knowing there’s a film of the book I just read available at my fingertips, gets me really excited!

Here are some that have really nailed it!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Lara Jean and Peter forever, y’all! The book was fantastic and the only thing better than reading about these two cuties falling in love on paper, is seeing it happen right before your eyes in the movie. PLUS, you get to stare at Noah Centineo for an hour and a half…yum!

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

After you’ve read and watched the first installment, strap in for part two. I didn’t love it quite as much as the first, but it was still adorable and totally worth your time!

You by Caroline Kepnes

You’ve either read the book, watched the movie, or you’ve at least heard everyone and their mom talking about it. In case you forgot about Penn Badgley, welp…here he is in all his hot and creepy glory!

One Day by David Nichols

This book and movie will knock you on your ass a tiny bit so beware, but the film really did the book justice and Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgis both are both amazing!

The Perks of Being Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

This is an iconic coming of age tale and if you read or watch it for the first time as an adult, you’ll wish you had as a high schooler. Lots of tough subjects are covered here, so proceed with caution, friends. BUT, the ageless wonder Paul Rudd plays a hot English teacher, so there’s that.

After by Anna Todd

Alright, people have THOUGHTS about this one. It mostly seems like ya either love it or hate it, but I kind of fall in the middle here. Is it the best book I’ve ever read or movie I’ve ever watched? Not even close. Is it entertaining? Oh hell yes! All the drama, all the pretty people, and a brooding bad boy hero with a sexy British accent.

Which of these will you be diving into this weekend?
