It’s written by genius woman Rachel Smythe and good lord this comic series has us gasping between episodes.

It’s like this…

Hades is the sad, brooding, handsome, confused, single, handsome, rich, commanding, sensitive handsome King of the Underworld. He’s got a rough job for all eternity, and he’s sort of dating the wrong person.

Minthe is that wrong person for Hades. She’s kind of selfish and mean and needy (OR SO WE ARE LED TO BELIEVE) and on the night of a really important party, she kinda blows off Hades. Let’s just say he’s kind of shaken up about it, but it’s FINE, because while at that party, he meets the RIGHT woman for him.

Meet Persephone. She’s the PERFECT person for Hades, and our fearless heroine. Persephone is the goddess of Springtime, beloved daughter of Demeter, and naive newcomer to Mount Olympus. She’s kind, fearless, and loves everyone and everything in the whole universe.

She and that Big Blue King of the Underworld are about to go crazy nutso for each other, but the world they live in just does NOT want them to be together.

For one, there’s Apollo, who we are NOT in the mood to explain right now. But let’s just say that Persephone made a promise that he MAKES her break, and he makes things messy and complicated and we kind of hate him right now but it’s fine we’re FINE.

We much prefer Apollo’s sister, Artemis, who is fearless and no-nonsense about silly boys, and is best friends with Persephone, and also her roommate.

What we’re trying to say is, there is a lot of strong female characters in here that we didn’t even COVER, and a ton of drama and wit and humor and OMG OMG SQUEEEE moments. So if you know what’s good for you, get started reading it!
