Indie Romances to Read this Halloween

Happy Halloween! Celebrate with these spooky indie romances.

Black Witch Magic: A BWWM Paranormal Romance by Mila Nicks

Don’t let that awesome illustrated cover fool you, this book about a paranormal investigator and the granddaughter of the legendary witch he’s out to shine a light on has some seriously creepy moments. Luna and Aiden have opposing goals to say the least, but they also have an attraction they can’t deny. Black Witch Magic has a quaint New England setting, spooky paranormal happenings, and a whole lot of magic. Grab your favorite brew and treat yourself to this fun book. Out Oct 30!

Haunted Attraction: A Haunted House Romance by Marla Holt

What to do when you find out your bed and breakfast is haunted? Go on a ghost hunt with your hot contractor who also happens to be a mystery author, of course. They say fear is the best aphrodisiac, and between disembodied footsteps and Jess’s weird connection to Matthew’s novel, this book has the perfect set up for a slow-burn romance. Live vicariously among the ghosts while staying safe and sound on your couch with this steamy romance.

Something Wicked: A Happy Holidays Romance By Lucy Hudson

Do witches and haunted houses sound too scary? Go cozy and sweet instead with this book about a second grade teacher and her love for all things Autumn. It’s a fall extravaganza with pumpkin patches and cider and, of course, romance. Another book set in New England, Something Wicked will give you all the treat without the trick. Pair this one with some pumpkin pie and hot chocolate because it’s oh so sweet.

Last Light by Claire Kent

What’s creepier than the end of the world? Being alone at the end of the world. That is until Layne teams up with the gruff mechanic, Travis, who used to fix her car. The two have to battle a whole host of nefarious people on their quest to find their remaining friends and family and spend a whole lot of quiet nights in the dark with just the two of them. This book truly creeped me out, while also managing to be super hot. I highly recommend reading on a dark and stormy night by candlelight.
