What to Read

New Adult Corner: Top Picks for December!

The last month of the year! As I look back on all the media I discovered, I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings. This month closes out the year with small time feels, perfect for the holiday season!

Meet Me on Love Lane by Nina Bocci

This is the definition of a slow burn. The first book focused on the politics, this is all about the small businesses and the not so small town characters. Think Star Hollow, where a gang of senior citizens are always causing some sort of ruckus and town halls really do happen. The second  book in the series really brings it to life. But, no worries, these can be read as standalones. While some parts were a little far fetched, this is the perfect December romance to read where romance is everywhere. The chemistry is there between the two main characters and so is the character growth.

Never Enough by Kelly Elliott

This is a swoony cowboy romance. A bullrider with a past that haunts, he’s a single dad trying to do the best by his son and that means being away more than he’s not. An interior designer who is looking for a fresh new start in Montana. The mountains are calling her and so is the mysterious owner of her new house. This book is available on KU.

Wait for Me by Tia Louise

This was my favorite to read this month because it blended my two favorite troupes, second chance romance and secret baby!It was perfectly paced as we delve into the history of the couple as well as what brings them back together. I was impatiently waiting to see how the HEA would unfold and it was worth the wait. I am extremely curious to see if a couple of the characters will get their own books and can’t wait. Also, this was is on KU.

With this year of books wrapping up, what will you dive into?
