Top Comics Out This Month! October 2019

For the superhero (or villain?) inside all of us, below are my picks for this month’s top comic book releases!

Naomi: Season One by Brian Michael Bendis (Author), David F. Walker (Author), Jamal Campbell (Illustrator)

October 29th

From writers Brian Michael Bendis and David Walker, with artwork from Jamal Campbell, this hardcover collected edition follows the brand new character Naomi. An ordinary girl in an ordinary town, after Naomi has a chance encounter with Superman, she begins to look into the mysteries surrounding her own adoption that takes her to the heart of the DC Universe. Great for fans of strong characters and lots of adventure.

Lady Death Nightmare Symphony #1 by Brian Pulido (Author)

October 16

Lady Death and the Hellraiders are headed to earth to fend off the extinction level villainy of The Sect and The Trinity. And certainly we will get to that crucial story, but first lets delve back into the past, before Lady Death’s “Cursed Sleep” began two decades ago and discover what diabolical treachery occurred during a rare peaceful moment in the Lady’s undead life! Perfect for fans of a little something spooky with edge.

X-Men #1 by Jonathan Hickman  (Author), Leinil Francis Yu (Cover Art, Artist)

October 16

DAWN OF X! The X-Men find themselves in whole new world of possibility… and things have never been better! Jonathan Hickman (HOUSE OF X, POWERS OF X, SECRET WARS) and superstar artist Leinil Yu (NEW AVENGERS, CAPTAIN AMERICA) reveal the saga of Cyclops and his hand-picked squad of mutant powerhouses. Stay tuned for some serious adventure from some of your beloved characters from X-Men.
