Daily Frolic: We’re Sponsoring the Audience Award Prize at Rom Com Fest!

Welcome to the Daily Frolic! The place for learning about one cool thing that’ll get you through the day.

Fans of the romantic comedy genre can rejoice because we finally get our own film festival! For the first year ever, audiences in the LA area can enjoy Rom Com Fest – a festival that celebrates love through film and experiences.

Founded by entrepreneur Miraya Berke, the festival will take place from June 20-23 at the Downtown Independent Theater and will feature screenings of classic romantic comedy films such as His Girl Friday, Never Been Kissed, and How Stella Got Her Groove Back.

There will be screenings of new films and a shorts program. Additionally, there will be a screenplay competition table read, a fireside chat with creator of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Rachel Bloom, and opening/closing night parties.

What’s Frolic’s part in all of this? Well, in addition to gorging on all of the amazing dessert and rosé that’s sure to be on hand, we will be sponsoring the Audience Award Prize!
