[Note from Frolic: We’re so excited to have author Kandi Steiner posting on the site today! She’s got us covered with a las-minute gift guide. Take it away, Kandi!]

Here we are. Less than a week away from Christmas. And – if you’re anything like me – you’ve waited until last minute to do some gift shopping. Have no fear! Here’s a last-minute gift guide for the book lover in your life… or maybe just some ideas of how to spend that book money YOU get for the holidays. 😉

1. This Super Cute Mug

I have one just like it and get SO many compliments and questions of where I got it when I post it on Instagram. And yes, it’s included in prime two-day shipping!

2. This Incredibly Adorable Sloth Book Sleeve

Help your bookworm keep their paperbacks safe when traveling/on the go. Prime two-day shipping!

3. These Cozy and Accurate Socks

Because really, is there anything more annoying than getting interrupted while reading? Prime two-day shipping!

4. A Bookish Candle

No, it won’t be there by Christmas, but you can pre-order a dozen different candles RIGHT NOW and give your bookworm something to look forward to!

5. Bookmarks

From literally anywhere. We lose them and bend them ALL THE TIME, so grab a cute one from Books A Million, Barnes & Noble, or your favorite local book boutique!

6. This Cozy Weighted Blanket

Pick up in stores at Target. Because what bookworm DOESN’T want to feel like they’re being cuddled while they read their favorite book?

7. A Signed Book by Their Favorite Author

You can find shops on most authors’ websites or email them. Mine is live at www.kandisteiner.com/shop! You may not be able to get it before Christmas, but you could wrap up the order confirmation or print a cover of the book you ordered and put it in their Christmas card. Knowing a signed book is coming from their favorite author would make their day!

8. A Bookish Mug or Tumbler from Bella Fox & Co

I discovered this amazing Instagram account when Colleen Hoover posted the mugs they made for her. ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE and functional. Again, might not make it before Christmas, but it would be worth the wait for a late gift!

9. A new Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Oasis

In my opinion, if your bookworm is an ereader lover, these are the best options. The Oasis is brand spankin new and the Paperwhite is a trusted old favorite! Both ship with two-day Prime shipping!

10. A Necklace from Fiction Jewelry

God, these things are gorgeous. You can get a necklace custom made or pick one from her catalog! Again, this one might show up after Christmas, but it will be WELL worth the wait!

11. This one is easy: BOOK MONEY!

Grab a gift card to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, or your favorite local bookstore. There’s no better gift than the gift of book money!

I hope these last minute gift items get you set up and ready to rock on Christmas Day. And, if you’re looking for your next read, check out my Becker Brother series! Books one and two are now available, and book three releases THIS WEEK on December 19th! Check out the whole series here.

Manhattan by Kandi Steiner, out now!

Everyone knows not to fall in love with your best friend. But when your best friend is Michael Becker, it’s impossible not to. He’s everything our town knows a Becker brother to be: devastatingly handsome, charming as a thief, and the icing on the cake — a sentimental musician who’s never without his guitar.
And he was mine. At least, that’s what I’d convinced myself.

Our bond was born in elementary school, strengthened by circumstance and the promise to always be there for each other, no matter what. And the best thing about my life was being friends with Michael Becker. Until it was the worst.

I watched him fall in love with someone else, and helped patch him back up when she left him behind. But when he drops the bomb that he’s moving to New York, I realize it’s my last chance to tell him how I feel. And I ask him to make one more promise.

One summer. One list of adventures to remind him that our small town has more to offer than memories of the girl who left him behind. One last chance to tell him I’m in love with him.
And I’m just dumb enough to believe that maybe he could love me, too.
