As an avid fantasy reader, I’ll admit that I found it extremely difficult to fall into a different genre, let alone a genre like YA Contemporary. With some help and a little exploring, I’ve compiled a list of some of the best YA Contemporary reads that are perfect for anyone wanting to explore something lighthearted and uplifting!

While this is a cry-worthy book for sure, it portrays such a realistic relationship and the struggles they endure. If you’re more of a realist and are looking for something a little more down to earth, give this one a try!
