I’m thrilled to feature Lucy Score’s latest must-read romance, The Price of Scandal, and introduce the Bluewater Billionaires series, which includes four, standalone books by Score, Claire Kingsley, Kathryn Nolan and Pippa Grant. What makes this series so exciting (and fun!) is that the four heroines are best friends and billionaires. Yes, the heroines — not the heroes — are the billionaires in these romances! I asked Lucy what inspired the project.

Lucy Score: Pippa Grant going on a hilarious rant about being so tired of fictional men getting to have all the zeroes in the bank accounts inspired the idea of our lady billionaires. I saved the screenshot! That’s literally where it began. Once we knew we wanted to have four lady billionaire BFFs, we had to pick the perfect backdrop. It had to be Miami. The city is fun, diverse, h-o-t. Just like our Bluewater Billionaires!

We’ll be featuring all four of the books as they release and profiling the uber-successful heroines, starting with Emily Stanton, who is the “genius” of the series.

About The Price of Scandal, out now!

“I’m the fixer your board hired to clean up your mess.”
“So you show up here, break into my house, and take a bath?”

Emily Stanton’s perfect life just became a disaster. She has a trust fund brother looking for a handout, a father who is more board member than dad, and a mother who thinks she should give up on this whole billionaire CEO thing and meet a man with a pre-nup and a yacht.

Oh, and then there’s that “misunderstanding” with law enforcement witnessed by Miami’s paparazzi. Now her billion-dollar deal is on the line, and there’s a naked man in her bathtub who claims he’s going to make all her problems disappear.

Charming—and happy to bend the rules when necessary—Derek Price has made a living polishing the tarnished images of the rich and famous. He’s never lost, and he never takes clients to bed. Until the dazzling Emily. Derek promised her a win and offered up a lifetime supply of orgasms as part of the deal. But if he can’t stop her enemies, he’ll end up losing much more than he bargained for.

The Bluewater Billionaires series:

The Price of Scandal by Lucy Score

Mogul and the Muscle by Claire Kingsley (Oct. 11)

Wild Open Hearts by Kathryn Nolan (Oct. 25)

Crazy for Loving You by Pippa Grant (Nov. 8)

About Lucy Score:

Lucy grew up in rural Pennsylvania with a lot of time on her hands and a big imagination. She was the oldest of three in a literary household. Dinners were often spent in silence while family members had their noses buried in books. A passion for writing took hold at five when she taught her brother to write his name on the bathroom door.

She started writing (on paper) in the second grade, first about pilgrims on the Mayflower and over the years graduated to essays, articles, blogs, and finally books.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Lucy pretended to be a normal adult by holding down jobs that included event planner, bartender, newspaper lackey, and yoga instructor.

Lucy and Mr. Lucy, enjoy spending time with their ten nieces and nephews and are determined to learn to sail so they can live on a sailboat in the Caribbean someday.
